The smartphone will be the company’s first phone with to feature a fingerprint sensor and a full-metal body. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and it is powered by a Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 processor and Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB memory options. Measuring 150 x 76 x 8.7 mm and weighing in at 164g, the handset runs Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop) with MiUI 7 on top. Redmi Note 3 has a 16 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quicker focus of just 0.1 second. On the front, it has a 5 MP selfie camera. The connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, dual SIM support with 4G and microUSB port. All this is powered by a 4050mAh capacity battery with fast charging, which can charge the battery up to 50% in an hour.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes in Dark Grey, Silver and Champagne Gold colors. It was launched in China at a price of 999 Yuan (INR 10,500 approx.), but currently there is no information exactly how much the device will cost in India.
